What Does It Taste Like?

So this is probably one of the most important questions as it doesn’t matter how good the other stuff is if it doesn’t taste great.

Well, you’ll be pleased to know it tastes god damn good!

If you’ve ever had Reese’s peanut butter cupcakes then I would say it smells and tastes like that.

If you’ve been Vegan all your life then you might not have had them before but either way this protein powder taste really good.

I also only added water and it was perfect.

I created a quick video below after I had tasted it so I’m sure you can see I was happy.

Also the next day I used the powder in my porridge and it tasted just as good.

So taste-wise I was a very happy customer!

Who Is Form Performance Protein For?

Form performance protein powder is for people who need a high protein supplement that is made with high-quality ingredients.

If you go to the gym and are mindful of what you put in your body then this is a good option.

Form also have a protein powder called Superblend but it only has 20g of protein per serving which has added super greens.

Performance blend would be geared towards post-exercise recovery.

Superblend would be more for the health-conscious who want to get their daily intake of nutrients.

What’s Good About Form Performance Protein Powder

So let’s go in-depth a little more into the features.

I’ll cover each feature and give a little explanation into it

High Protein Content – This protein powder has 30 grams of protein per serving. Each serving is 40 grams. I think it’s the highest protein content vegan protein powder that I’ve tried. Perfect if you hit the gym.

Low calories – Surprisingly this only has 154 calories per serving. It’s not the lowest I’ve seen for a plant-based protein but it’s still very low. Great if you are minding your calorie intake.

Curcumin and Probiotics – These are added to help reduce inflammation and improve immunity.  You can tell a good protein when they add health-promoting ingredients like this.

Contains BioPerine® and Digezyme® – This digestive enzymes mix helps enhance bioavailability meaning your body can absorb more of the goodness in Form Performance Protein powder.

Complete amino acid profile – Form protein powder uses a protein blend to ensure it has a complete amino acid profile which is vital for functions such as protein synthesis, tissue repair, and nutrient absorption.

No Hexane, Acids or Alkalis are used in the pea protein extraction – These are used to separate the fats and proteins.  These aren’t good for the body and even though there is a cleaning process after this happens residue can still remain.

All-natural ingredients – This includes no artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners or added sugar. Form Performance sweeten this protein powder with sweetener blend of stevia leaf extract and thaumatin which is a protein from the African Katemfe fruit. It tastes great!

Tested for contaminants, heavy metals, and harmful microorganisms – This is a biggy for me. In my healthiest protein powder review, this was a bit factor in how I reviewed the product.  Huge industrial farms with poor soil quality and heavy reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides are the main cause for contaminates to be in a plant-based protein powder. Not many brands test this (prob because they would fail) so it’s great that this brand does.

GMO and Soy Free – Thank god! No GMO ingredients here. Soy doesn’t have a good reputation as most US soy is GMO (94%). Soy can also be known to cause some issues in people so it’s good that this protein powder is GMO and Soy free.

Is There Anything Bad?

Honestly, I can’t think of anything bad.

When you look at all the good things above it’s truly hard to find fault.

The only thing I could say is they’re not the cheapest premium brand.

It works out at roughly £50.00 / kg.

Whereas my favorite brand Vivo Life works out at £42.72 / kg.

And I would put Vivo Life as one of the more expensive brands on the market.

But it’s like what I said in my Vivo Life protein powder review, you pay a little more when you want a high-quality premium grade protein powder.

And I’m fine with that.

I’ve bought cheaper plant-based protein powders before.

And they’ve generally tasted pretty bad and they weren’t made like Form nutrition protein powders.

If you don’t mind paying a little extra this shouldn’t be a problem for you.

Where To Buy Form Performance Protein Powder?

You can purchase from a few different online supplement sellers, but I would only really recommend you buy from 2 main sources.

The first one is on Amazon which I’ll explain why in a sec, and the second is direct from the supplier.

So the reason I would recommend buying from Amazon first is that buying direct from Form Nutrition you will pay a delivery charge.

As you can see below it’s £5 in the UK.  If you’re on the US store it’s $6.

I’m not a cheapskate but I would rather save the delivery charge and buy off amazon.  I have amazon prime so I got next day free delivery.

Even if you don’t have Amazon Prime you should still get free delivery, just not next day delivery.

Check it out here on the UK Amazon.

The second option is just to buy direct from Form Nutritions online store.

This is a good option if you’re in the US as they ship to the US and the UK.

For some reason, they don’t sell yet on Amazon in the US.

Click here to buy direct from the US store.

Click here to buy direct from the UK Store.

My Verdict – 9/10

This verdict is based on the Chocolate Peanut flavor so this could change depending on what the other flavors taste like.

Overall I think Form Performance Protein Powder is a really good plant-based protein powder.

It’s high quality and full of goodness plus it tastes fantastic.

What more can you ask for?

It also has the highest protein content I’ve seen for a vegan protein powder meaning it’s a great option if you work out.

It’s not the cheapest so if you don’t mind paying a little extra for a quality product then Form Performance Protein Powder will be a great choice for you.

I would give it a 9/10.
